Noura Al Kaabi hails the excellent organization of 7th DIPMF 2022
(The Minister of Culture and Youth made this remark in a keynote address at the event)
Her Excellency Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Youth, UAE, praised the excellent organisation of the 7th Dubai International Project Management Forum (26-27 January 2022). The event which attracted the participation of numerous project managers, experts and entities from the UAE, the region and far afield.
The Minister made these remarks in her keynote speech on the opening day of the forum attended by His Excellency Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors and several directors of government and semi-government entities. The session was also attended by scores of participants, visitors as well as representatives of local, regional and international media.
“The Ministry of Culture and Youth launched a 10-year strategy for cultural industries and we look forward to this strategy to contribute 5% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) with the participation of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Community Development and the Ministry of Economy.
“Culture has played an emotional role during the Covid-19 lockdown. The cultural dimension contributed to enhancing the emotional spirit of many people who stayed at home during the peak of the pandemic. This turned the crisis into opportunities that helped many people to review their postponed projects, initiatives and plans through reading and reviewing the latest developments and trends of culture, science, economy, finance, and society worldwide,” she commented.
Al Kaabi paid tribute to the giant strategic projects implemented by the Roads and Transport Authority, the latest of which was the iconic architectural masterpiece, the Infinity Bridge, which symbolises the infinity in achievements and successes of our beloved country in general and Dubai in particular. The emirate has become a global destination and melting point that brings together tens of nationalities from all nations in different languages, ethnicities, religions and orientations. They all live in an atmosphere of security, safety, justice, equality and love as a microcosm that expresses all the nations on the planet.
