Roads & Transport Authority - News Details

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) organised the 'Universities Fair 2024' under the theme 'A Culture of Continuous Learning', featuring nine prestigious entities: Ministry of Education, Khalifa University, American University of Sharjah, American University in Dubai, University of Birmingham, University of Sharjah, British University in Dubai, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, and University of Rochester. 

The event attracted 350 visitors who explored various educational platforms and study programmes. Five workshops were held and attended by 50 participants during the event, which received 94 requests from employees wishing to complete their studies.

During the two-day event at RTA's Head Office, participating universities offered specialised consultations to help attendees find suitable study programs and future career paths. Three workshops were held, one organised by the American University in Dubai, covering the Master of Science program in Construction Management and Traffic Accidents Analysis. The Ministry of Education conducted workshops on the scholarship programme, the benefits offered to scholars, and the cooperation with RTA in continues learning for its employees. 

The second day of the exhibition witnessed two workshops, the first sponsored by the American University in Dubai on the Masters Program in Urban Design and Digital Environments, and the second workshop organized by the Talent Development Centre of the Roads and Transport Authority, which shed light on the topic of self-motivation.

Some educational tracks offered at the exhibition included Construction Contract Management, Data Science and Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity Engineering, Structural Engineering, Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering, Smart Cities, Urban Planning, and Infrastructure Project Management.
