Mohammed bin Rashid approves Dubai Metro Blue Line project
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the Dubai Metro Blue Line project, a new 30 km metro route that will strategically link key areas in the emirate through 14 stations, in line with the anticipated growth of around one million residents outlined in the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.

Comprehensive plan for safe and smooth transportation of participants and visitors of COP28
RTA has mapped out a comprehensive participation plan in the conference, which will take place at Expo Dubai from November 30th to December 12th, 2023, in coordination with the Office of the Special Envoy for Climate Change of the UAE and Expo Dubai. RTA will engage in diverse initiatives in both the Blue Zone (official delegations) and the Green Zone (businesses and the public), as well as at the Conference Of Youth (COY18).
