Opening a key bridge connecting Hessa Street to Al Khail Road
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) opened, a key two-lane bridge spanning 1,000 metres to enhance traffic flow from Hessa Street to Al Khail Road. The bridge ensures a seamless traffic connection to Dubai’s city centre and Dubai International Airport.

Completion of expansion works at Omar bin Al Khattab and Al Maktoum Streets intersection
The improvements include the addition of a dedicated lane for vehicles travelling from the Clock Tower Roundabout towards Al Khaleej Street, and a new lane for traffic moving from Al Khaleej Street to the Clock Tower via Omar bin Al Khattab Street.

Announcing the Awarding of Dubai Metro Blue Line Project
RTA announced that it has awarded the contract for the Dubai Metro Blue Line project to a consortium of three leading Turkish and Chinese companies: MAPA, LIMAK, and CRRC. The project, which spans 30 kilometres and includes 14 stations, is valued at AED20.5 billion.

Truck Ban on Emirates Road Towards Sharjah During Evening Peak Effective January 2025
