To pay fines

Through Website

1. The customer goes to Fines Inquiry and Payment page.
   
2. The customer enters the plate details, the driving licence number, the fine number or the traffic file number.
3. The customer pays the required fees through Credit card.
4. The customer receives the receipt through e-mail.

Through Smart Apps

1. The customer logs in through UAE pass.
2. The customer applies for the service.
3. The customer enters the fine number.
4. The customer pays the required fees through Credit card.
5. The customer receives the payment receipt through SMS or email

Through Self Service Machines

1. The customer applies for the service.
2. The customer enters the required information.
3. The customer settles the required fees in cash or by credit card.
4. The customer receives the payment receipt through SMS or e-mail.

Through Mahboub Chatbot

1. The customer types Pay Fines Related to Bus Lanes.
2. The customer enters the plate details or the licence number or the fine number or the traffic file number.
3. The customer settles the fines by credit card.
4. The customer receives the receipt through e-mail.

To dispute fines

1. The customer applies for the service through RTA website and uploads the required documents.
2. The dispute application is saved in the Complaints and Suggestions in the Public Transport Grievances page - Dubai Bus - Grievances.
3. The customer receives the dispute application reference number and then its status (approved/rejected) through SMS within 30 working days. This duration can be extended if there's new evidence that wasn't previously submitted.
4. If the application is approved, the fine status is amended and the refund amount transferred to the customer's bank account within 5 days (if the fine is paid).

To dispute fines

• Dispute application number and then its status (approval or rejection)
• If the application was approved, the fine is cancelled from the system and refunded if already paid.

• To dispute fines the customer can only apply through RTA Website.
• The Grievance Committee has the right to reconsider or extend the dispute review period for more than 30 days, if there's new evidence that wasn't previously submitted, according to the Committee policy.
• All vehicles receive bus lane fines.
• The bus lanes are located in the following areas: Naif, Mamzar (temporarily closed), Taawun, Al Ghubaiba, Khaled Bin Waleed 1,2, and 3, and JLT.
• The customer can only pay fines at the Customer Happiness Centres counter in case he's applying for another service such as renewing, registering, or changing the possession of a vehicle.
