Bike and Scooter Tracks in Hatta

Project Description

  • Construction of dedicated and shared tracks for bicycles and e-scooters extending 4.5 km in Hatta, passes through the existing pedestrian bridge at Leem Lake, and joins with the existing track in Wadi Hatta Park
  • Connecting the bicycle path to the Hatta Inn area, in addition to linking the existing path at the Hatta Police Roundabout area to the Hatta Sports Club area.
  • Construction of two rest areas along the new tracks
  • Increasing the total length of tracks in Hatta by 50% to 13.5 km
  • Completed a 2.2 km walking track adjacent to the new tracks
  • Completed the paving of a parking lot at Wadi Leem Lake accommodating 135 vehicles and upgraded the existing gravel road connecting the parking lot to the main street
  • Installing traffic and information signs around the entrances to Lim Lake
