Saeed Al Balooshi, Director of Passenger Transport Activities Monitoring at RTA's Public Transport Agency, said, "In coordination with the Dubai Police General HQ, we conducted inspections of unlicensed passenger transport in several parts of the emirate, especially spots known for such illegal activities. We issued violations for passenger transport on unlicensed vehicles (passenger smuggling) and promoting these services. Measures taken resulted in seizing 86 vehicles in collaboration with Emirates Parkings Company and towing them to the Vehicles Impounding Yard at Lehbab. We also worked with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs to conduct inspections in Hatta, which resulted in issuing violations for unlicensed transport activities, and the vehicles involved were impounded. No promotion activities were detected."

In cooperation with the General Department of Airport Security, our field inspection teams conducted inspections around terminals 1, 2, and 3 of Dubai Airports. The campaigns resulted in issuing violations for transporting passengers with unlicensed vehicles and promoting passenger transport services. As a result, 90 cars were impounded and towed to the Vehicles Impounding Yard at Lehbab by Emirates Parkings Company.
