This service enables you to obtain a permit to use the public parkings of a residential area that forbids non-residents to park in its premises during the night from 12 am till 8 am.Note: This service is currently available in Al Mankhool area only.

Eligibility
Residents of an area, that forbids non-residents to park in its premises during the night from 12 am till 8 am, are eligible to apply for this service.
Required documents
  1. Copy of the ownership/Title deed of the residential unit or the valid tenancy agreement approved by Ejari
  2. Valid ownership of the vehicles/Mulkiya, under which plate numbers the permits will be issued.

  1. The customer logs in to RTA website.
  2. The customer selects Apply for a Parking Permit Within a Residential Area.
  3. The customer clicks Apply Now.
  4. The customer selects Parking Permit Within Al Mankhool Residential Area.
  5. The customer fills the required details and uploads the required documents.
  6. The customer receives the response (approval/rejection) through SMS within 2 working days.
  7. In case of approval, the customer receives the permit through email.

  1. The customer submits the required documents at the Customer Happiness Centre.
  2. The customer receives the response (approval/rejection) through SMS within 2 working days.
  3. In case of approval, the customer receives the permit through email.

One year renewable based on the same conditions and procedures.

Terms and conditions
  • The permit is issued for the residents of areas where there is a persistent need to forbid non-residents from parking during the night following the assessment of the concerned department.
  • The permit is given based on the size of the apartment or the villa according to the following:
    • Flat with 1 bedroom and a living room or a studio: 2 permits
    • Flat with 2 bedrooms and a living room: 3 permits
    • Flat with 3 bedrooms and a living room: 4 permits
    • Villa or Flat with 4 bedrooms or more and a living room: 5 permits.
  • The permit is not valid for reserved parking spots.
  • The permit is valid for only 1 residential area.
