The construction of internal roads project at Oud Al Mateena 2 as part of the 5 Year Plan (2012 - 2016) has started. The project comprises of paving of internal roads in a number of residential districts in Dubai Emirate, costing about 1 billion AED, to improve the infrastructure of the areas in residential neighborhood.
Development works in the new project comprises of the construction of 7 meters wide and 18 km long road with roadside parking slots of width of 2.5 meters, in a sector extending 8 km on both sides of the road, street lighting installation and storm-water drainage system.
