Project description 

• The extension of Hessa Road in a sector stretching 4 km with two lanes in each direction, starting from the entry point of Remraam Residential Project to the existing roundabout at the entry of Dubai Sports City which is converted to a signalized junction 
• The construction of a road linking the extension of the Academic City Road with the Emirates Road over a 2.5 km-long stretch, having two lanes in each direction
• The construction of a road of 4 lanes in each direction extending 25 km, starting from the Dubai – Al Ain Interchange up to Al Yalayis Road
• The construction of a bridge at the intersection of the Academic City Road with Latifa bint Hamdan Road near the entrance of the Global Village for the traffic inbound from Emirates Roads along with a signalized intersection at-grade underneath the bridge.

Project benefits 

• Reduces traffic issues and achieves a smooth traffic flow
• Eases the mobility of residents from and to the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road
• Cuts short the journey time from 20 to 5 minutes, thus becoming one of the key arterial roads in the area
