Two bridges as part of Garn Al Sabkha Street Development Project

Project Description

• The project is part of Garn Al Sabkha-Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road Intersection Improvement Project.
• The length of the first bridge is 601 metres, and the second bridge is 664 metres.
• Both bridges have a capacity of two lanes each.

Project Benefits

• The first bridge, with a capacity of 3,200 vehicles per hour, serves the eastward traffic from Garn Al Sabkha Street to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, then northward towards Al Qusais and Deira.
• The second bridge accommodates 3,200 vehicles per hour and enables free traffic flow by eliminating overlapping of traffic coming from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road heading southward towards Al Yalayis Street and Jebel Ali Port.
