Honouring Outstanding Vendors and Investors
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) honoured its top suppliers and investors, including private companies and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which contributed significantly to RTA’s infrastructure projects. RTA recognized Its best agencies and sectors that support SMEs based on criteria set by the Outsourcing and Supplier Recognition Committee.
RTA is keen to celebrate the best suppliers and investors annually to foster partnerships with the private sector and broaden the scope of investment opportunities in infrastructure projects through high-level business models. The event serves as an opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the vital contributions of SMEs that have delivered significant and commendable results.
This honour is part of RTA's efforts to strengthen partnerships with the private sector and expand investment areas in infrastructure projects according to high-level and exemplary business models. This ceremony is also considered a momentous occasion to develop the private sector's efforts and highlight the achievements of SMEs that provided essential services that yielded results. It is a significant achievement deserving thanks and praise.
Award Winners
Ahmed Mahboub, Acting CEO of the Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, honoured the winners of various categories. In the category of Management Consultancy Firms, Moelis & Company UK LLP took first place, followed by STRATEGY& (MIDDLE EAST) LTD in second place, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (DUBAI BRANCH) finished third. In the category of contractors (Small Projects Category), AL QARO ROADS CONTRACTING L.L.C. was the winner, ST ENGINEERING ELECTRONICS LTD (DUBAI BRANCH) was the runner-up, and GEAP INTERNATIONAL - UAE LLC, finished third.
Mahboub also honoured winners in the Best Contracting Company – Major Projects, the winner was WADE ADAMS CONTRACTING LLC. Second place was awarded to IMPERIAL ELECTROMECHANICAL SERVICES (LLC), and third place was awarded to BIN HANIF ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS (LLC). In the best suppliers of goods and services category, QATAR INSURANCE CO. took first place, followed by EMIROCOM LLC - (DUBAI BRANCH), and AMINCO SECURITY SERVICES finished in the third position.
In the Best Company of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development, OKOOL MANPOWER RECRUITMENT SERVICER SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP – Dubai Branch was recognised as the winner, followed by SOCIAL HUB EVENT MANAGEMENT finished second, and NEW STEP SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS & COMPONENTS TRADING followed in third place.
In the Best Investor Company category, the first place went to Hypermedia FZ-LLC, the second place went to ENOC RETAIL LLC, and the third place went to ARABIAN OUTDOOR (UAE) CO. (LLC).
Agencies and Sectors
The ceremony also acknowledged RTA sectors and agencies that support SMEs. The winner was the Traffic and Roads Agency, the runner-up was the Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, and the third place went to the Public Transport Agency.
