Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced the ‘New Manager’ programme, a strategic initiative aimed at empowering new managers across various sections. The programme provides a blend of comprehensive development modules and interactive sessions, meticulously designed to prepare future leaders.

This programme is part of RTA’s commitment to achieving its ambitious vision and strategic objectives by equipping national talent with the knowledge and tools necessary to assume leadership and supervisory roles. The programme offers advanced training in strategic leadership, innovation, team building, and change management, contributing to enhanced efficiency and professional productivity.

Athari Mohamed, Executive Director of Human Resources and Development at RTA, explained: “The launch of the ‘New Manager’ programme reflects our commitment to investing in the development of national talent and driving them towards excellence. It aligns with the directives of our leadership to create an optimal work environment that enhances employees’ capabilities and skills, contributing to exceptional achievements and outstanding results in government performance.

“The programme includes a series of interactive workshops that blend theoretical learning with practical application, in addition to mentoring and guidance sessions aimed at empowering participants to adopt innovative approaches to leadership and decision-making.”

“By 2025, the programme will have graduated 50 new leaders, ready to face future challenges and lead their teams with efficiency and creativity. This achievement reinforces Dubai’s position as a global destination for sustainable mobility leadership and underscores our commitment to achieving RTA’s fifth strategic goal: “Future-Proof Organization” concluded Athari.
