Receiving 482 applications for scholarship programme
(The programme targets high school and university students)
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that its Human Resources and Development Department received 482 applications for RTA’s scholarship programme in various local colleges and universities. The programme seeks to qualify Emiratis to develop and grow.
Future Specialties
The scholarship programme features an array of engineering and future academic specialities required in the job market and responds to RTA's operation and customer services. The programme is part of RTA’s commitment to attract talented Emiratis and groom them for suitable job placements, besides reflecting RTA’s social responsibility.
RTA provides full sponsorship for the scholarship programme covering a variety of specialities namely: Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Roads and Transportation Engineering, Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Cyber Security, Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence, and Bachelor of Data Analysis and Big Data.
Admission conditions
RTA has established specific criteria for enrollment in the programme. Applicants must be UAE nationals and should have a high school certificate with a cumulative average of not less than 90%. For university students, a minimum GPA of 3.5 is required.
Rewards
Notably, RTA will offer incentives to those admitted to the programme including a monthly salary, study & activity expenses, and the costs of computers.
