Through Website

  1. The customer selects Apply for Seasonal Parking Permits for Public Parking.
  2. The customer enters the vehicle’s details.
  3. The customer settles the fees by credit card.
  4. The customer receives the permit details through email and SMS.
  5. If the permit was linked to one vehicle, it is activated according the start date selected by the customer.
  6. If the permit was linked to more than one vehicle registered in Dubai, the customer uses RTA Dubai Smart App to activate the vehicle using the public parking.

Through Smart Applications

  1. The customer opens the smart application.
  2. The customer selects Parking.
  3. The customer selects Seasonal Parking Card.
  4. The customer logs in using his username and password.
  5. The customer clicks Start.
  6. The customer enters the type of the permit, its period and its start date.
  7. The customer selects the vehicle registered under his traffic file.
  8. The customer settles the required fees by credit card.
  9. The customer receives the permit details through email and SMS.

Through Self Service Machines

  1. The customer selects Parking Services.
  2. The customer selects New Seasonal Parking Card.
  3. The customer enters his information and the vehicle’s details.
  4. The customer settles the required fees by cash or credit card.
  5. The permit is activated instantly.
  6. The customer receives the permit details through email and SMS.

Through Customer Happiness Centres

  1. The customer shows the vehicle ownership and enters the required information (email and phone number).
  2. The customer settles the required fees.
  3. The customer receives an SMS and an e-mail with the payment receipt.
  4. The customer uses RTA Dubai smart app if there is more than one vehicle on the same permit, to activate the vehicle that uses the public parking.

Through Mahboub Chatbot

  1. The customer asks Mahboub about the Seasonal Parking Permit for Public Parking.
  2. The customer is offered to apply for the service through the Chat.
  3. Mahboub asks the customer if he has an account on the RTA website.
  4. The customer enters the username if he has an account, or enters the traffic file number or plate details if he does not have an account.
  5. An SMS is sent to the customer to confirm the transaction.
  6. Mahboub asks the customer to verify the vehicles registered under his name.
  7. The customer is allowed to select 3 vehicles registered under his name.
  8. The customer selects the subscription package and the start date of the permit.
  9. The details are sent to the customer to confirm the information.
  10. The customer settles the required fees by credit card.
  11. If the permit was linked to one vehicle, it is instantly activated. If it was linked to more than one vehicle, the customer must use RTA Dubai Smart App to activate the vehicle that uses the public parking.

Terms and conditions
  • The customer is allowed to use the seasonal permit labeled "General" only in public parkings Zone A, B, C and D, and the seasonal permit labeled "Plots" only in public parkings Zone B and D.
  • If the vehicle was registered in the emirate of Dubai:
    • For individuals: A maximum of 3 vehicles for the same owner can be registered and listed under the same traffic file, so that the customer can switch between the vehicles registered in the permit every 60 minutes through the RTA Dubai app.
    • For Companies: the company can register only 1 vehicle per permit, noting that not all types of company trucks, buses, or pick-ups can be registered.
  • Only individuals and vehicles registered in Dubai can apply for the service through Self Service Machines.
  • If the vehicle was registered outside Dubai, only one vehicle can be registered per permit.
  • The permit is not valid in parking lots with codes not specified in the permit, such as parking lots located in Dubai Silicon Oasis, JLT, Tecom, and Dubai Healthcare City.
  • The permit fees are non-refundable.
  • The parking permit category cannot be changed from "General" to "Plots".
  • The parking permit category can be changed from "Plots" to "General" during its validity period and after settling the required fees in the Customer Happiness Centres or through RTA website.
FAQs
  • Question 1: Can the customer use the seasonal parking permit for parkings located in the Development Areas (Tecom area, Dubai Silicon Oasis, etc.)?

Answer 1: No, the customer cannot use the seasonal parking permit for these parkings.

  • Question 2: When can the customer purchase a new seasonal parking permit online?

Answer 2: The customer can purchase a new seasonal parking permit online at any time, but cannot activate it until after the expiry of the previous one.

  • Question 3: Can the customer modify the information if he entered the wrong plate number while applying for a seasonal parking card?

Answer 3: The customer can modify vehicles linked to his permit either through the website or by visiting Customer Happiness Centres after providing the vehicle ownership certificate and settling the fees (100 AED).

  1. The customer selects "Add/Modify Vehicles."
  2. The customer adds the required plate number.
  3. The customer settles the fees.

Through Customer Happiness Centres:

  1. The customer visits the Customer Happiness Centre.
  2. The customer provides the required documents.
