Apply for an NOC for a New Trade Licence

This service enables you to apply for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to request a new trade licence relevant to the commercial transport sector (new company/branch/counter).

Eligibility

Licensed companies by RTA are eligible to apply for this service.

Required documents

Preliminary approval of the licensing authorities (Dubai Economy and Tourism - Free Zones)
Copy of the partners' passport.
Copy of the valid passport or Emirates ID of the facility owner and all partners.
Valid visit or residence visa of the expat partners.
Approval of other governmental bodies for some business activities (check the table in the Terms and Conditions section).
NOC from the sponsor if the partner was not a GCC Citizen.

Process

The customer clicks Apply Now.
The customer is redirected to the Terms and Conditions page.
The customer clicks Apply for service after agreeing to the Terms and Conditions by checking the box.
The customer enters the required applicant details and the security code then clicks on the Confirm and Proceed button.
The customer clicks on Add Activity from Add Organisation Activities/Members section to add an activity.
The customer adds a member by clicking on the Add Member button then clicks Confirm and Pay.
The customer adds the member details and uploads the relevant required documents and clicks on the Add Member button.
The customer clicks on Confirm after agreeing on the terms and conditions of the electronic undertaking.
The customer clicks on the View modification button to review the entered details before applying
The customer clicks on the Submit button. The system directs the customer to a page as per the company activity.
The system generates a new application number for the request and sends it to the Employee of Administrative Procedures (EPS) for review.
The customer is notified of the status of the application through e-mail or SMS.
The customer receives the approval.

The company must have an approval from other governmental bodies for some business activities (check the table below).
Issuing a new trade licence without RTA's approval exposes the company to a violation.
RTA reserves its right to reject the application and attend to it as per the UAE law in case of fraud or misleading information.

Answer 1: To activate the online Transportation Activities Rental System the customer must:

Create an account with a username and password on RTA website.
Clicks on the Transportation Activities Rental System TARS to activate the system and check how to download and use it, and to check the training material.

Note: The customer can contact the TARS support team through email at tars.support@rta.ae.

Answer 2: You can reprint the certificate by sending an e-mail to cta.team@rta.ae.

. Question 3: What are the homogeneous activities? Are there activities that conflict with others?

Answer 3: Homogeneous activities are those that belong to the same group. To consult the list of groups, click here

Question 4: How can I modify the NOC information for a new company

Answer 4: You can check the validity of the information when you apply for the service before the certificate is issued and the fee payed. If you wish to change the information on the certificate after it has been issued, you must submit a new request.

Question 5: How can I check that the certificate is accurate?

Answer 5: You can check the accuracy of the certificate using the Document Validation Service.
