This service enables you to dispute the results of the Road test for the following categories: light vehicle, heavy vehicle, heavy bus, and light bus.

Eligibility
Trainees who failed the Road test for the following categories: light vehicle, heavy vehicle, heavy bus, and light bus are eligible to apply for this service within 14 days from the road test results.

  • +20 AED Knowledge and Innovation fees.

Process
  1. The customer logs in to the RTA website.
    1. Customers who have an account can log in using the UAE Pass or registered RTA account.
    2. New customers must create an account by clicking “Register as individual”.
  2. The customer clicks Apply for Appealing a Road Test Result.
  3. The customer checks the results details on the website, including Immediate Fails and Minor Faults.
  4. The customer selects the results that he considers to be incorrect and enters his feedback (including complaints about the examiner's behaviour).
  5. The customer enters the refund details (IBAN or original payment account).
  6. The customer pays the required fees.
  7. The customer submits the appeal and receives a reference number and confirmation by email.
  8. The customer receives the results within 5 working days by email with a link to check the details.
  9. If the appeal is approved, the results are changed and the customer receives a refund of the appeal fees to the selected account.
  10. If the appeal is rejected, the customer completes the training and retakes the Road Test.

  • Question 1: What are the reasons for appealing a road test result?

Answer 1: The trainee applies for the road test appeal if he is not satisfied with the result.

  • Question 2: How will the appeal be handled?

Answer 2: The committee analyses the results and reviews the video of the road test. The trainee will also be contacted for further investigation.

  • Question 3: When will the refund be processed if the appeal is valid?

Answer 3: The refund will be processed within 2 months.

  • Question 4: Can the customer cancel his application to appeal the Road Test results after submission?

Answer 4: No, the application cannot be cancelled, and the customer needs to wait for the result.
