- Question 4: If the customer's driving licence was transferred to Dubai from another emirate and he applied for an experience certificate, what information will be reflected in the driver experience certificate?
Answer 4: The experience certificate will only include traffic records from Dubai and will reflect the licence issuance date as recorded by the other emirate.
- Question 5: What information will be reflected in the experience certificate for customers with a manual or automatic driving licence, for example, in the Light Vehicle category?
Answer 5: The licence information will be listed under "vehicle classes" as follows:
- For manual driving licence: Light Vehicle.
- For automatic driving licence: Light Vehicle Automatic.
- Question 6: If the UK traffic authority didn't accept the driver experience certificate to exchange the Dubai driving licence and instead requested a "To whom it may concern licence data verification", what should the customer do?
Answer 6: The experience certificate has been enhanced and updated to meet the standards for overseas use. For this certificate to be acceptable overseas, the customer must visit the Ministry of Interior website or use the Ministry of Interior application (MOI) to request a "To Whom It May Concern" certificate. Additionally, the customer must visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for authentication.

- The customer accesses the services and selects Licensing then Licence.
- The customer clicks Experience certificate.
- The customer selects the purpose/reason for requesting the certificate.
- The customer agrees to the Entry Fee Terms and Conditions.
- Question 8: What's the procedure if the customer wants to apply for a driver experience certificate online, but his Emirates ID isn't updated in the traffic file?
Answer 8: The customer is advised to apply for the service via the kiosk machines.
- Question 9: Will a non-Dubai driving licence holder receive "To Whom It May Concern" instead of a driver experience certificate when he applies through RTA website using his Emirates ID?
