This service enables you to pay and dispute the parking violations of public paid parkings in Dubai, receive parking fines notifications and add a driver to receive the fines notifications through email. It also enables you to view a photo of the violating vehicles and its location when registering on RTA smart app or website, and to link the traffic file to the registration file.

  2. Payment receipt and a letter from the bank with the account number (if the fine is paid).

To pay fines

Through Website or Smart Applications

  1. The customer applies for the service.
  2. The customer enters the required details.
  3. The customer settles the required fees by credit card.
  4. The customer receives an SMS and an e-mail with the payment receipt.

Through Mahboub Chatbot

  1. The customer types pay parking fines.
  2. The customer enters the plate details or the licence number or the fine number or the traffic file number.
  3. The customer settles the fines by credit card.
  4. The customer receives the receipt through e-mail.

Through Customer Happiness Centres or Vehicle Registration and Inspection Centres

  1. The customer heads to the centre.
  2. The customer presents the vehicle’s plate number.
  3. The customer settles the required fees.
  4. The customer receives an SMS and an e-mail with the payment receipt.

To dispute fines

  1. The customer logs in to RTA website.
  2. The customer selects Parking Services from the dashboard.
  3. The customer selects Pay Public Parking Fines.
  4. The customer enters the traffic file number if the vehicle was registered in his name, or enters the fine number if it was not under his name.
  5. The customer receives the dispute application reference number.
  6. The customer receives RTA response in 10 working days.

  • List of violation types and values, and their settlement.

  • Reference number of the dispute application and then its status (approval or rejection)
  • If the application was approved, the fine is cancelled from the system and refunded if already paid, after submitting the required documents.
Terms and conditions
  • The customer can pay the fines related to vehicles registered in other countries only through RTA website, after registering their plate number.
  • To dispute fines the customer can only apply through RTA Website after registering and selecting the Parking services.
  • The customer can register the plate number of all his vehicles through RTA website to receive fines related notifications. RTA is not responsible if the customer didn't receive the fine notification because he didn't update his vehicle and contact details.
  • If the vehicle was owned by someone other than its driver, the customer must add a contact number for the vehicle's owner to receive the fines notifications.
FAQs
  • Question 1: If the fine was paid before RTA cancelling it, how can the customer get a refund?

Answer 1: The customer can refund the paid fine amount through contacting the Call Centre on 8009090 and applying for refunding a cancelled fine.

  • Question 2: If the customer received a fine but was not on the fine location, how can he verify it?

Answer 2: Only the vehicle owner can check the photo of the violating vehicle and its location through logging in to RTA smart app or Website.

  • Question 3: Can the customer dispute a fine after paying it?

Answer 3: Yes, the customer can dispute a fine after paying and he can only search for it through its number.

  • Question 4: What can the customer do if the fine dispute application was rejected, and he had proof that the fine was unjust but couldn't dispute again?

Answer 4: The customer can call 8009090 and provide the Call Centre agent with the fine number and all the documents he was unable to submit while disputing it the first time, and the agent will file a complaint.

  • Question 5: If the customer paid through the smart parking meters with touch screens but didn't print the ticket and got fined, how can he submit the supporting documents?

Answer 5: When paying through the smart parking meters with touch screens, all the provided data is stored. The customer needs to provide the number of the parking meter to review all the data.

  • Question 6: How can the customer view a photo of the public parking violation?

Answer 6:

    • The customer enters RTA Website
    • The customer links his account to the traffic file number.
    • The customer clicks on Drivers and Vehicle Owners tab.
    • The customer clicks on Parking and selects Pay Public Parking Fines.
    • The customer enters the traffic file number.
    • The customer selects the vehicle.
    • The customer clicks on the violation image or location.
    • A photo of the vehicle appears with the plate number.

Answer 7:

    • The customer clicks on the control panel.
    • The customer selects Licensing Services.
    • The customer enters the traffic file data and the vehicle number.
    • The customer clicks Confirm to link.
