- Question 1: How to amend an already approved gate level?
Answer 1: The customer must apply for an approval to amend the gate level, describing the reason for the requested amendment and attaching the supporting documents (such as revised setting out layouts, site photos and survey, etc.), or contact RTA Customer Service.
- Question 2: Why does the customer receive the gate level approval notification via email with no approval copy attached?
Answer 2: RTA does not send a copy of the gate level approval in the notification emails. The customer can download it from the same page of the website where he applied. If the approval copy was not found on the related page, the customer can contact RTA Customer Service.
- Question 3: What to do if the copy of the gate level approval included a mistake?
Answer 3: The customer may apply again describing the issue he faced, or contact RTA Customer Service.
- Question 4: How to obtain levels for the boundary wall of a plot?
Answer 4: When the customer applies for the gate level approval, levels of all corners of the plot or building are issued, which is enough to build the boundary wall. For plots with huge sizes such as farmhouses, RTA issues the proposed boundary wall levels at 20-30m interval.
- Question 5: What to do if the utility manhole is either higher than or in front of the gate of a building?
Answer 5: If the constructed level of a building’s gate is as per RTA’s approved level, the customer should contact other concerned authority like DEWA, or Etisalat, or Du, etc.
- Question 6: What does it mean if the customer received a rejection notification saying, “The design is not yet ready”?
Answer 6: This means that the road design for a newly planned area is not finalised to release the gate levels. The customer may follow up with RTA Customer Service for updates.
