2. The yard supervisor checks the validity of the Abra registration and fills the maintenance permit form.
3. The maintenance activities start at the maintenance yard at Al Jaddaf Station.
4. The security staff allows the operator to transfer the Abra back to the creek.
5. The yard supervisor updates the records.

• The driver must hand over the Abra operating permit to receive the maintenance permit.
• The customer must carry out periodic maintenance activities (at least every 6 months).
• Refraining from carrying out maintenance activities is considered as a violation, and will halt the operation of the Abra.
• Maintenance activities should be conducted in the Marine Transport Maintenance Workshops at Al Jaddaf, otherwise, the customer should specify the alternative workshop he intends to go to.
