RTA opened of the second and final phase of the Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Corridor Improvement Project which spans 8 km along Ras Al Khor Road from Dubai-Al Ain Road to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. Works completed entailed the construction of four bridges, stretching 2 km in total.
RTA carried out improvements and quick traffic management solutions on Al Seba Street in the direction of Sheikh Zayed Road - Garn Al Sabkha Street intersection.
RTA opened a new tunnel specifically designed for cyclists in Meydan area. This tunnel spans 160m in length and 6.6m in width, with a capacity to accommodate approximately 800 bicycles per hour.

RTA has accordingly removed the old single-lane road and replaced it with a dual carriageway extending 11 km comprising two lanes in each direction, along with a median and three roundabouts. The new road will link with the entry points of Al Qudra Lakes which increases the road capacity from an existing 1800 vehicles to 4000 vehicles in each direction.
RTA opened in January 2022 the Infinity Bridge project which is 295 meters long, 56.5 meters wide with the ability to accommodate 24,000 vehicles in both directions. It rises 15.5 meters high above the creek levels, allowing complete freedom of movement to large boats and yachts around the clock.
RTA opened on 20th November 2021, a new bridge linking Al Manama and Al Meydan Streets crossing over the Dubai Al Ain Road. RTA has accordingly eradicated the previous roundabout and adjusted the sloping ends of the existing bridges on Al Meydan Street.

(RTA) announced the completion of a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists crossing over Ras Al Khor Rd (Dubai-Hatta) extending 475 metres in length. The bridge, which has a width of 5 metres (3m for bikers and 2m for pedestrians), is fitted with rails between the lanes and on both sides.
